Time means diddly if you haven’t processed the grief of losing an SO. Your dreams are now trying to do subconsciously what you haven’t finished consciously.
It's not that time heals wounds, it's that healing takes time. You still need to do the heavy lifting of grieving and overcoming the loss. Therapy can be helpful, because you have someone to help you discover the tools unique to you to heal.
