No way around it, dreams are weird. Sometimes they reflect what is going on in your life but in a different way. It’s usually best not to get too consciously concerned with a dream because dream logic is not like real life. Sometimes the subconscious mind is trying to resolve something that your conscious mind is wrestling with, but in a different way. Dreams are not usually something you need to worry a lot about. Most mean nothing at all or they are so twisted a version of your concerns that they are unrecognizable. If a dream is supposed to mean something to you, I believe that it should usually click in your mind when you think about it and at least become apparent what the concern was. Maybe there is something in your life that you are wrestling with, like a difficult choice of some sort and your dream is your mind reflecting that in some way. Think about it - Is there some decision or choice you have been thinking about but have not yet decided? That might be the real meaning of your repeated dream. When I was a teenager I worked in a drive in theatre selling tickets. I saw a lot of movies last half first and then the beginning of the replay until I got back to where I had seen the last half. After a while I started dreaming that way occasionally - Ending first and then the beginning and I knew how it was going to end since I had already seen the end. If it was a nightmare that made it somewhat worse - knowing how it ended... The point is dreams usually reflect your conscious world not the other way around.
Holy shit that is trippy and kind of awesome. Your dreams were like that movie Memento. And the brain is freaking awesome - it’s YOUR brain, so technically you already know the whole thing, the plan is there, but your conscious mind is only aware of the parts being shown to it by the subconscious—backwards. Damn that’s cool as ****.
OP - Since it’s the same dream every night, you can actually look for cues while dreaming to become aware of the dream while you’re in it and turn it into a lucid dream. This is all stuff happening in your head, so you can control it - fly around, **** people, I dunno - anything you want! Look up lucid dreaming it can be cool and fun if you manage to do it. You can change this (presumably) boring dream to anything your imagination can come up with. My boring imagination usually lands on flying or *******, but maybe you can get more creative lol A few times, I did “meet up” with my subconscious, who showed me things about myself, and that was arguably a pretty cool experience.
