You people are dicks. I agree that the duckface is annoying, but not so much that someone should be driven to tears about it. I mean, I come from a family that makes jokes about each other, too, but there's a fine line between affectionately poking fun at someone and mocking them, and it sounds like OP's dad catapulted over it.

Such a sad society where people are saying she deserved to be BULLIED to the point of tears and how some are praising the dad.

The actual issue is that your gf is too sensitive. She can post any pictures she wants, duck face and otherwise. But if some old fart makes fun of her for it, she's gotta stand her ground or just take the joke at face value. I can't imagine his dad jokes were so cruel that her crying was justified. Sounds like a case of insecurity. Tell your dad to lay off and tell your gf to not take it personally.
