dude you don't spank a child for doing something they don't understand is wrong. you have to explain to them that it's wrong first. if they keep doing it after a little while then a spank would be ok I guess but not immediately after the first instances of it happening.

wake up the dog early and give the dog a lot of water and hold him over your sons bed that'll keep him away for a while

31, I was mostly referring to the "i'm afraid this will turn into a daily routine" part. To me, this proves that the parent was just letting this happen. So i guess we actually both agree :)

nip it in the butt before it gets worse...train that kid while he is still young enough or things will get worse! after a certain age they are who they will be and you dont want this to be the first step in the wrong direction ie hurting animals for fun etc etc
