People with alopecia deserve it.
Sue. They are discriminating against you for a medical condition.
my mom has that, tell your boss to go to hell.
Sue your boss for verbal harassment, too. The law hasn't existed but it should. Then sue him for stupidity if he didn't know what alopecia means. Again, the stupidity law hasn't existed but it should. Don't sue him if he is ugly, also. There really was a law but it has been repealed long ago. I'm just being sarcastic but unfortunately, your boss should be fired, not you. Superiors abuse their "so-called authority"
You have 3 months from the date of encounter to take to employment tribunal, contact equality commission: google it. Alopecia is a hidden social and psychological disability and although there is no physical infirmity there is a short term adjustment issue and therefore a short term disab.
I would check into a lawsuit. I know that in a good bit of states that you cannot be fired due to a medical condition. it's basically a form of discrimination.
Sounds illegal and smells like bs.
What a load of ass!

Alopecia is the universe's way of telling you that you should be bald. Shave your head and hope that you don't have a raisin scalp.
