Bad sitter

Today, I was taking care of a friend's hamster. Thinking the hamster wanted to make a bed, I put some cotton balls in his cage so he would be comfy. He promptly ate them and died. FML

only a guinea pig could use that kind if bedding material cuz they are big enough not to choke on cotton but i still wouldnt risk it with my baby. before taking care of any pet read up about them online so you wont kill it.

hamsters will eat everything they chewbon everything so that way their teeth won't outgrow their mouth hamsters are not total geniuses to use them as a bed but they go with instinct to choose to chew them and eat them.... and that's why hamsters have wood chipping in their cages other than for using the bathroom they make their beds with that I have owned 3 hamsters in my life and none of them died 1 died when another hamster bit his ear off and the other 2 ran away get her another hamster and tell her your a ******* moron

I had two guinea pigs and one killed the other from biting his ear off too !

it wasn't even my fault either my mom gave one of them to my friend because the 2 i had kept fighting so we eventually got them separate cages

actually hamsters will use toilet paper as bedding so cotton balls weren't a bad idea
