Hahahahahahaha!!!!! Just apologize to her-she should understand.
In America, we refer to a discharged battery as being "dead" while most of the rest of the English-speaking world calls it "flat." I find it odd that the OP used both terms. It would have been funny if he said, "Uh-oh, looks like you're flat," and she flashed him her saggy, wrinkled old-lady ******* and said "Suck on these, asshole!"
win! =D
in the UK, we use both, so there's no reason why they shouldn't in other parts of the world that have been heavily influenced by both Britain and the US
yea right, i think that only the US infuences countries, you say britain has the same influence? Yea right think about McDonalds, and Taco Bell, and socks, and twinkies, and slippers, and Nike's and Michael Jordan, how could you possibly even get close to that??
A typical American fool, what language are you speaking? English. Oh and "socks" and "slippers"? Because we obviously don't have those in England... Also the Scottish invented an amazing amount of the items you use in every day life, the U.S. Navy was invented by a Scotsman for one thing, and I've never seen a Twinkie (except in the film Click), or a Michael Jordan trainer (except in the film The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift). Also, the OP is from New Zealand, the Australasia/Oceania (whatever you want to call it) area is heavily English speaking because we exported all our criminals there so it isn't surprising the OP used both.
your uneducated
Haha, I LOVE these anti-American comments. Why u b hatin' on the Americas, bitch? I find it kind of surprising that nobody has said "United" or "States" in this particular discussion. This one was a little fail-ish, plexico. You can do better. Also, I bet the people who invented those things are really proud. Awesome contribution to the world, non-Americans >:D.
stones.. glass houses.
YDI for saying that to an old person
YDI for working
YDI...pretty sure It's FML for her though since she's clearly close to dying and is not ready and your faux pas just made it worse.
He was talking to the chair. The old lady thought he was talking to her. Ouch. :X

Ydi for saying something like that as a rest home. And who says that? If my phone runs out of battery I don't tell people i'm dead. YDI.
ZING!
