You probably made her embarrassed about her children's behaviour, which in the end is a win. She might actually be tempted to do something about it. Based on that, this is neither YDI nor FML.

Good. I'm glad you said something. Maybe she'll see that the kids need discipline. I hope she was fully embarrassed. The kids themselves made that mother look bad, not the person making the comment. You only said what other people were thinking, and for that I applaud you. It's good soembody had the guts to say something. Maybe that mother will take the initiative to do something about it.

and she just sat there and didn't do a thing about it that's just bad parenting how lazy of her their are too many irresponsible parents like her out there in the world letting children scream and run around and do nothing about it. these people need to be sterilized so they no longer can reproduce and live off welfare
