feel for you OP, This is THE MAJOR PROBLEM IN EDUCATION TODAY. Books that were printed in the 80s(my grade school time) ARE STILL BEING USED in many schools across the country They are way outdated, as most have had things in them proven to be wrong and needs to be updated. Without doing this we as a whole(The USA) are promoting ignorance of truth & facts. And that pisses me off even more because 99% of the population is carrying a computer in their pocket and can fact check ANYTHING AT ANYTIME but don't because "THE NEWS SAYS IT" so it MUST BE TRUE.
