stash? never heard of this before....hmmm.. are you implying you...saved...alcohal? ?? this never occured during my teen years. Now to think of the possibilites that could have been....!
233 my brother always had a stash of alcohol in the back of his closet when he was a teen. My parents knew about it and regularly replenished it so he would never run out and thus maintain his status as one of the 'cool' kids at school. My brother, being an idiot, could never figure out why his bottles never ran out. They thought, and still think, he's a genius and congratulate themselves on how cleverly they were able to help him maintain his popularity during his formative teenage years, not realizing that providing alcohol for minors (since he DID share with his pals and they all drank and drove) is a crime. I am sure you will all think there is something wrong with me but when I was a teen the last thing I wanted to do was get drunk, so I never understood the 'alcohol=popular' thing.
I never really enjoyed getting drunk, I like to have a glass of wine with a meal. I like going out drinking with my friends but I never drink excessively. We were always allowed alcohol at home when I was a teen, my parents were very open about everything. My parents allowed us to have small amounts of alcohol with meals or just to try it. We were never allowed to get drunk but alcohol was never totally off limits. Knowing I could get alcohol from my parents took all the excitement out of sneaking around with my mates. Our laws are very different here, you can have alcohol at home with an adult from the age of 6 and a drink with a meal at a restaurant at 16. You can buy alcohol at 18 as well.

how old r u? and if u older than 21 why r u still with you parents?
Why would him being 21 mean he should be out his parents' house? It's pretty hard for a 21 year old to find a place and not end up in a shitload of debt nowadays.
like how my parents found and ate my "cookies" fml.
the process of getting drunk is just as fun as being drunk
Parents = WIN!!!
Atleast you didn't get In shit! my parents would have been like "what I'n the he'll is this?" and then they would have dumped it out...
at least you didn't get in trouble for it!
if they had to FIND it, you're probably not old enough to have it. AND if you are, what are you doing still living with your parents?
I think OP is under age, but what a stupid comment! Not all 21 year olds can afford to move out! It's getting more and more expensive every year! I moved out at 19 but I know plenty of people who still live at home at the age of 25+..
Alcoholic parents will stop at nothing to get booze, especially if they know their kid's got a stash.
If I had an alcoholic parent I would not bring alcohol into the house! You'd have to be a complete MORON to know your parent is an alcoholic and bring temptation into the house! You'd be contributing to their death by doing that!
Contributing to their death, but only if they know about the stash. I personally don't drink, but my boyfriend does. His parents aren't true alcoholics, but are borderline; they do break into his booze stash every so often if it's left out in the open in his room. That's why he's started to hide it, and they haven't found/taken any since.

How much alcohol did you have? And why the hell didn't they share?
