You have as much power to pep things up as he does! If it's not doing anything for you then switch things around, try a new angle or venue, or you take control for a while. Maybe you need to tell him what works for you. I'm sure he will be as happy as you will be to oblige.

or possibly, he's not sucking when/where he's supposed to be.... either way, communication, in or out of the bedroom.... communication, not nagging.... let him know what you like, and I'm sure he'll reciprocate

Sounds like he didn't notice you making this list and was just as bored as you were. Sex with either of you sounds absolutely atrocious. And sex involving both of you together seems like it may rank just a tab bit under/over suicide.
