Today, I unknowingly used my shampoo thinking it was leave-in-conditioner. While walking to work, it started to rain. I started to produce suds. FML

Poor people's genius way to save water bill. Next, should apply body wash to yourself and washing liquid to your clothes, then run a marathon.

How do you not notice how bad your hair feels compared to conditioner? It's not like shampoo doesn't feel slimy or weird or anything... Can't imagine how nasty your hair looked with that crap in it.

Maybe place your leave in conditioner outside of your shower and apply it then to avoided confusion in the future :)

I did this with shoe cleaner.....washed the inside went for a walk and it started raining continued and looked down to find suds spilling out with every step.....

Suds...really? You must have been stoned, drunk or otherwise intoxicated to let that happen. Leave in conditioner is typically packaged in a bottle that sprays or pumps or in a tube similar to toothpaste. You totally deserved it.

The cheaper brands are usually packaged this way, yes. The product in these is usually watery in consistency and doesn't really work. If, however, OP shelled out for a half-decent (ie; not watery/crap) bottle of leave-in conditioner (and it was the same brand as her shampoo) it could be a very easy mistake to make, with the only noticeable difference between bottles being size. OP was probably tired and in a hurry, don't be so quick to cry YDI when you've probably made equally silly mistakes in your time. :)
