Im american and I know that the US helped win the world wars but without the bravery of the Brits in the battle of Britain and countries that fought the Germans in those wars are the reason we won. like Belgium, if they didn't last so long against Germany, the Germans wouldve invaded France sooner and Britain wouldn't have time to build up it's military. it was the joint effort of all countries

u guys. it was the joint effort of all the allies that won the world wars. if the Brits didn't hold out and weren't so brave during the battle of Britain the war wouldve been lost. if america didn't help during D day then it wuldnt even had happened. u see, everyone did a part to help (I just showed relevant examples). and both countries are really close politically and culturaly. I don't know why we are fighting when are countries are so well linked in friendship. there are other ppl we shuld be fighting.
