Not necessarily. Certain allergies and food intolerances can be days before symptoms occur. Its a reason people don't often associate their sickness with the food.

I get what you are saying, but usually if you have an allergy that results in sore, or blisters the first signs show up within the first couple of hours. There isn't usually a several day delay because that reaction is generally a sign of a pretty severe allergy.

Could be a canker sore or a cold sore...your immune system is probably weak from being sick which is why the sores show up around then. Sores doesn't sound like an allergic reaction. But you can't tell though without getting them checked out in person!
