Today, I came down with painful sores in my mouth, just after having gotten over a cold. Apparently I'm allergic to the cough drops I've been eating for the past week to make myself feel better. FML

Are you sure it's not a herpes outbreak?

That's what I would think. Judging by my own allergies, reactions usually happen within an hour. 20 minutes is often long enough though. Unless she's been sucking **** drops and got case of the herpilyderpilies.

small internal mouth sores are auto-immune related. it is likely that your cold put your immune system into overdrive, causing the sores.

You sure the reason for sores in your mouth are from the cough drops ;)

You really need to go to the doctor. People can have sores inside the mouth as well.

allergies typically do not take a whole week to present themselves. I would go to a clinic and have someone check you out. yes, after your body fights off a cold you can developed sores around your mouth, but still, it could be something else. seek a professionals opinion just to be safe.
