FYL and YDI. You could have disproved in other ways. Taking a picture or writing down your tag info. FYL for getting the ticket in the first place, but YDI, especially knowing your school was ticket happy. At least with my school, they don't like to void tickets either.

You know it's supposed to be on display. What good is it to bring the permit with you? The point isn't whether or not u own a permit. You're supposed to have it displayed in your car. Take a picture of it like the others said. Maybe they'll realize that it wasn't as visible but it was still on display. But regardless of what happens for the first ticket, you completely deserve the second one. I can't help but think you're the stupidest person ever lol

... You know, they can look up your tags to see that you have a permit. All you really needed was to take your registration in with you. Also, showing that OWN a permit is not necessarily sufficient; some places let you move it between cars. That is why it must be displayed, not simply owned.
