Would've helped if he'd asked for the change while handing it over, rather than expecting you to be able to read his mind. I understand your confusion
excited about one extra dollar? o.0
Plenty of people get tips for making ice cream... I've worked for two ice cream shops and I get tips all the time. It's some work sometimes to fix the ice cream (or shakes, or smoothies, or whatever is being bought), and usually we're working for close to minimum wage! Sometimes people understand that, and they feel sympathetic enough to help us out.
Haha well I never said it was THAT hard, I was just making a point to say that people get tipped sometimes for doing some dirty work, lol. I never expected a tip, but it was always nice to get some!
wtfwts: The employer would be more than happy because tips are usually between three and four times minimum wage (at least at some places)
Cold Stone maybe; the people there actually seem like they'd deserve a dollar tip every once in a while, with all the effort it takes into making each order.
So you didnt get a dollar O NOES!!
It's not about the money it's about the customer appreciating OPs work
lame
Assumptions are provoked by the dark side. Now, release your inner demons! Give in to your hate! We shall make the universe ours! Wahahahaha!!!!
He's an asshole for not saying anything to you in the first place. I hate it when people do that.
Heres a tip: Get a better job lol
