@292 (DoctorManhattan) I knew someone was going to say all that, and completely agree with what you're saying except you're talking about an ideal situation, not how our society actually is. "guys need to be trained to stop expecting all this needless makeup cake-on dress-up garbage from women" of course! But it's far from that in society today - and this FML proves it. If girls don't do all this crap then guys say things like "you need to shave that shit" or "ugly bitch" (as shown in other FMLs) and they don't get asked out to prom, and that hurts. Of course most of this changes when we mature at older age, but that's not what this FML is about. a) Yes, there IS a rule. It's certainly dying out in society today, but it's still there and we can't ignore it (unless you're attracted to feminists). b) Of course not, but how often do these guys exist? It's extremely hard to find a guy who thinks you're not attractive but still loves you. I was only speaking for the general population, I certainly don't mean it for myself. I personally have never put on make up or shaved, and was once overweight... and I have the sweetest man in my life who loves me for who I am. But I certainly can't say the same for 80% of everyone else at my college, and the girls in so many previous FMLs, I'm one of the lucky few. If one of the cheerleaders at your high school and a fat girl both asked you out to prom - who would you have said yes to at first instinct? Be honest. If you really are one of these nice guys, then all my respect is for you, but I was talking to #273 who I'm sure isn't. c) So you're blaming women and saying it's our fault that guys only choose the hot girls first? Really? And that women should be the ones to put our foot down first, not guys? I had a lot of respect for your opinions until I read that. You say it's our fault for being manipulated by these rules. Shouldn't men be the one to stop laying down all the rules in the first place? That's like telling someone to do something and then getting mad at them for listening to you. If you want to live in a world where all women are bra-less hairy legged feminists who refuse to cook and clean then, well, have fun with that hahaha. And nowhere was I complaining about any of this that women have to do - most girls have fun being sexy and looking hot. All I said was that saying men have it harder with appearance is ridiculous!
OMG everyone should just do what they want if u wanna bush, have a bush if u dont, then shave it if wanna **** only shaven girls, **** only shaven girls
haha 312 ur hilarious!!!!
men have dealt with bushes for 100s of thousands of years. now look at the ******* (pun intended) we women have to deal with these days jesus had a bush btw. throwing it out there.
Wow, I can't believe the immature posts here. OP: It's your body, and you should be obligated to do whatever you want with it. I don't see why people freak the **** out when this topic pops up (ie: OMG SHAVE THAT SHIT!!!11 GROCE~!), I guess apparently they've never gone through puberty themselves or something. (Then again, I won't question some of the people's age here, because I know.) Those who are hatin' probably never got ******* IRL... only shaved/waxed ******* through tv and computer. ;) Anyway, bottom line is, it's your choice. Don't be ashamed or embarrassed that you don't, because you're not the only chick on earth who has hair there.

there's nothing wrong with pubes, but if you need a machete to get through the jungle, it might be time to start shaving
oh my gosh! thank you! you're the first guy who has said this! I don't shave down there... yet. but when I shave my bikini line it itches reeeeeally bad, so it's annoying. and if people expect me to shave down there, they better be expecting me to itch it too.
