Clashing

Today, my daughter came home in tears, completely distraught. It took half an hour to convince her to tell me what was wrong. What horrific thing happened to her? One of her friends wore the same outfit as her to the movies, and apparently that's a betrayal of their friendship. FML

That's a modern day tragedy even Shakespeare couldn't have written

Am I the only guy wondering why this is always a big deal?

This is sad... some people come home with real problems, you whiny bitch. We don't cry. We smile. Because that's what we do.

She sounds like a self centered egotistical bitch OP :/ This would be a good time to teach her about PRIORITIES and thing that really matter. Girls who get that emotionally upset over another friend wearing the same thing have a lot of self imaging/respect issues I believe. Personally as a girl, I love when me and my friends unintentionally twinsies!!

How old is your daughter? I'm trying to think of an age where this reaction is appropriate... But, the age I'm thinking of is too young (in my mind) to be cognizant of fashion. Either way, FYL, OP!

This might merit a lesson to one's daughter on how not to be such a basic bitch as to be copied by her similarly basic friends.

tbh if I was your daughter I'd have just said "ooh, we're twins!" and had a laugh about it

I'm sorry, but this is funny...I understand you were very worried about her, and I was at first, but once I heard abt tht I just lost the Care I was abt to give
