Cobra KO

Today, during a judo session, I was paired with a thin, frail-looking rookie. Before a mock skirmish, as I'm much bigger, I said I'd take it easy on her, but also to give it her best shot. She immediately threw me on my face to the floor, knocking me out cold in 7 seconds. FML

Someone's size doesn't determine their fighting skills. I mean, you should know that, you train judo. Ugh and your gross condescending speech to her. Can't smash that YDI button hard enough.

Well, there is truth in the saying "the bigger they are, the harder they fall." The only thing being bigger gives you is reach. But, being bigger also gives your opponent a bigger target.

One of the first things I learned about combat sports, it doesn’t matter how big or small your opponent is. Never, ever underestimate them, you typically wind up regretting it later.

Take Batman for example, he doesn't have superpowers but he can go toe to toe with those who has. Tactics is just as powerful as strength.

Never assume that someone is weak because of how they look.

Isn't that what judo suppose to be?

Thin girl can are surprisingly strong. I learned that one the hard way

That’s why you don’t get cocky, bitch

I thought size not mattering was like the 101 of Judo ( and a lot of other martial arts) - I've seen an 11 yo female judoka take out her dad who decided much like you to mockingly tell her to come at him. But you did learn something during that lesson at least, so good for you.
