Really sorry about your anxiety, you better get some good help before your own wedding day, wouldn't be good to have a sobbing anxiety attack in the middle of your vows. Best of luck to you
Oh man ikkk the feeling anxiety can be debilitating. For some physically painful.. And goes untreated for so many due to the stigmas attached and people being to anxious to ask for help for their anxiousness! I hope You are seeking whatever help you may need and I hope You didn't get to sick! :}
know your limits, if you have severe social anxiety you should have asked to go home instead of getting soo drunk you got sick
now that is a stupid thing to say, gluten intolerance is far from a psychosomatic trend, it's an allergy due to adenosine triphosphate, a pesticide used generally in agriculture..read up about stuff instead of making comments about stuff you know nothing about.
A glutin or wheat ALLERGY is real. Glutin intolerance is psychsomatic. It doesnt mean there are not symtoms but they are all in the persons head just like social anxiety.
There's a difference between "some" and "a lot" when it comes to alcohol. A few drinks can reduce inhibitions and limit social anxiety. Any more than 2-3 (varies depending on the person) and you start to get into the realm of stupid behavior. Even more will make you sick (especially if you drink quickly). Yeah, it sounds like you drank way too much.
At least you went to the restaurant. That's a win in my book. Congratulations!
FYI alcohol makes anxiety disorders worse in the long run. You have a 2 to 3 times of an increased risk for developing substance abuse. 20% of people with anxiety disorders have alcohol abuse. Self medication may seem like a good bet in the short run, well, unless you puke at a party, that's no fun. I'm not saying you definitely have an alcohol problem, but in the long run, turning to alcohol to stop panic attacks is not the BEST option. It will stop you from getting the help you need to cope with anxiety, and could even make anxiety worse. The good news for you is that panic disorder and anxiety attacks are very treatable medical conditions. Please try and see a Doctor and, or, a therapist. There are much more effective anti anxiety meds that you can take, some you have to take long term like the SSRIs, and some are quick acting "once in a while" type meds like Xanax. You can have those quick acting drugs to help you through the period where you learn skills from a therapist to handle the anxiety. You can develop skills to control panic attacks.YOU CAN FEEL BETTER. Don't be afraid to get medical help for anxiety. If you pulled a muscle in your back and were limping around, would you be afraid to see the doctor? If you had a lump growing on your body, would you just sit around and wait for it to go away? Your brain is part of your body.

sounds like that was a little bit more than "some" wine.
Anxiety is a heavy burden, I know. I hope you can get some help with it. Until then, I hope you can find that fine line between too little and too much wine. Good luck.
