14 et al.: Paedophilia (in the literal sense, an attraction to children) is not something one can help or choose. In this respect it's like homosexuality or heterosexuality. The difference is that, for a paedophile, acting on that orientation will make them scum. For my own part, I have a lot of respect for the people who recognise this and make sure they will never work with children or be in a position where they could harm a child. The ones who don't are the lowest of the low. And to the OP: Jaysus. I can understand parents needing to worry constantly, but that's a pretty big accusation to make just because your child is friendly. Some people just want to be the victim.
I was waiting in line at customs once when a groggy kid (5ish?) reached up and grabbed my hand. I just smiled and told him, "Wrong hand." He was a little startled, but by then his parents in front of me turned around and chuckled. It's unfortunate she overreacted, is all. Maybe she's having a bad day.
Admin - again the grammar is totally wrong here. Today, at Jiffy Lube, (COMMA) a woman and her 4 year-old son were waiting at the checkout counter. As I walked by them, her son mistook me for his father and held my hand. The woman immediately grabbed her son's wrist, looked at me, and said "Sicko." FML Add comas where needed, and stick the same tense, it'll be easier on the eyes.
She probably saw your erection.
#78: Full of fail. Way to complain about grammar and then use a useless hyphen in "year-old" and spell "comma" wrong. THEN you use a comma splice! "It'll be easier on the eyes," is a sentence by itself. Drop your extra comma, stick in a period, and capitalize the "I" in "It'll". And you're missing a "to" in "stick the same tense." Epic grammar correction FAIL.
Why was she not watching her child? :/
Hahaha epic! But how did the child manage to grab your hand and how come your held onto it long enough for the mother to see? I would've dropped his hand straight away. But I can understand why didn't explain to her what happened - I'd be in too much shock! Plus she'd probably walk away from you ASAP xD

I guess I can understand her reaction, though I would expect an apology from her, had you explained the situation..
#2, Please learn to spell or at least some simple grammar..
