weddings are always boring, it won't change anyt hing anyway
Sounds like the plot of How I Met Your Mother
this is a scene from how I met your mother
I remember once being young enough to think these things matter - surely you can talk it over with her, let her know everyone knows your wedding was planned first and if she doesn't change, everyone will know she couldn't come up with her own plan. But I'd she goes ahead, just enjoy it and then have yours and forget the comparisons. It shouldn't spoil your big day so don't let it.
Weddings pretty much follow the same template anyway. Just change a few colors here and there and voila a different wedding.
Screw weddings. You should spend the money you were planning for the wedding on an awesome tropical elopement with strangers to witness.....and do it before her sister can get married.
My best friends mother in law did the exact same thing to him. Completely messed up.
Maybe you can 'accidently' fall over a table and ruin something...then not invite her to your wedding. If she's going to be petty, you might as well be too
Maybe plan something entirely different without her knowing.

Tell her that it's not right to be doing that. You've probably planned for a while and she just took it like that
That's pretty ****** up.
