I'm sure he was being sincere. You just have to get used to the fact that not everybody is out to hurt you.

I feel ya OP. It takes a while to bounce back from stressful experiences. Hopefully this one works out for the best! Still you should be cautious. Assholes are everywhere, but don't let that stop you from enjoying yourself.

I know your pain OP. A lot of people of assholes. But some people aren't! Don't let your ability to trust COMPLETELY disintegrate.
