Death at one's elbow

Today, I found out that for the past 6 months I have been sleeping next to a dead body. The cremated body of my landlord's father. It was hidden inside a wardrobe that I was not supposed to use. FML

1. It's not a "dead body." It's a jar/box of ash. 2. You were told to not use the wardrobe, so if you snooped, then you were in the wrong. 3. Why does it bother you? It just a container of harmless ash. You're being silly and dramatic.

My mom slept in the room with my deceased grandma the day she died and I was a floor above. It's sad but that's the way life goes.
