It happens. Some people just aren't excited when their kids get pregnant, they could care less. If you have older siblings with kids, this might be why. After being a grandpa to five other kids, he's not excited about another one.

Yes, that's a huge pet peeve of mine. If someone could care less, it means they care. If they COULDN'T care less, it means they have no ***** to spare.

Hm, I disagree. I feel if she was young (as in not a responsible adult yet), her father's reaction would be a lot different. As in angry. I guess though that this isn't something we can know for sure unless OP gives us more info :)

Would she have deserved it even if the father was her boyfriend of three years and their birth control failed? Being young and pregnant doesn't always mean you deserve it because you screwed up. You're not even sure she's a young mother, so don't judge her for supposedly being one.
