Disloyal!

Today, I was at my boyfriend's house for dinner with his family. His mom cooked up a steak dinner, except that I'm a vegan, but trying to be a good girlfriend, I forced it down. Upon his mother finding out I was a vegan, she called me "disloyal to my beliefs." FML

hmm... seems like you are quite stupid. i'm a vegetarian and my boyfriend's parents knew right away, i just told them the first time i visited, and they just prepare something without meat if i come over for dinner. IT'S NO BIG DEAL. explain to them what you can or can't eat. once his mother made some potatoes and poured sauce over it that was made from the meat juice and i just politely told her i wouldn't eat the potatoes. also, didn't your boyfriend know you were a vegan? he could have told his parents if you were too chicken about it...

A "good girlfriend"? Srsly, wtf. I don't think the guy's mom would've been offended or thought you were the devil or something because you're a vegetarian. What she said was the truth -_- I hope you at least felt awful for eating that poor animal.

"Vegan" is a way of life, not just a hype you can follow 3 out of 7 days... If you really want to be considered "hardcore", you really should grow some balls... And no, i'm not vegan
