Distance makes the heart grow further away

Today, I turned down an invite to a huge private party that is rarely given to freshmen in college, because I felt bad that I hadn't had a chance to talk to my girlfriend in a couple of days. I called her a couple of hours later. She answered with, "Hey, I'm at a party. I will call you tomorrow?" FML

You got played. Then again isn't it a little pathetic to have to set aside time to call your girlfriend? It's your fault for not calling her earlier than you did and then you'd still have time for the party. Common sense, use it.

Someone is whipped already. I'm just sayin'.

OP here, I just learned how to suck my own penis, so now I don't need a girlfriend after all Thanks for the insight #27!

I'm calling bs. He said a few hours later he called his girlfriend who was at the party, wouldn't that mean he could have called her before the party?

she was at a different party. the fml is that he turned down a party to talk to his girlfriend yet he still couldn't talk to her because she went to a party of her own

If you're a freshman, then it would be a privilege to go to a party. Also, he should have invited his girlfriend to it as well

You know like 90% of freshman long-distance relationships end up with the girl cheating on you right? Especially if you're getting the "fark you, I'm at a party" thing already. You should have just called your friend up and said you could go after all, then bang some other girl.

Or with the guy cheating on the girl... that's at LEAST as common.

Uhh...In my experience, it's usually the guy who does the cheating in long distance relationships (key word, *usually*). I'm in a long distance relationship at the moment (because of university), and in the first week I had about 10 guys, who have girlfriends, hit on me and try to convince me to do things with them since my boyfriend and I "aren't in the same area code anymore", and "neither is he and his girlfriend".

epic pic 58 I loled send it to illustrated fmls or failblog or something haha u rockkl

Guys like you are so stupid lol. Let me tell you why you'll never land a decent girl...because you're a dick. Any girl willing to go out with you is definitely not as great as you think she is because she's an idiot. The whole she'll-cheat-on-you-anyway-so-I-should-cheat-on-her-first thing is so moronic that I can't even find a word to describe your idiocy.

yeah that sucks. don't be whipped. just think of it this way: you were too cool to go to the super-exclusive private invite-only party. instead, you wanted to spend some alone time with your hand. at least YOU made that decision.

Why didn't you just go to the party and call her from there? Why would you want to talk to her for a few minutes when you could have been at a huge party and just talk later? That was the worst decision ever! You could have had both easily and without ANY effort. You could have even just called the next day! I don't think 1 day matters that much and that party won't happen again so... Yeah, you kinda did deserve it.

So she went to the party, big deal. You totally deserve it for not talking to her and just assuming that 'cause you said no that meant she wasn't going too. Next time, talk to her. And this shouldn't be an FML.

wtf. you could have called her from the party, you know. or the next day. or something.
