It’s getting harder and harder for him to tiptoe around the house....
I’m curious to know what he said when you asked, “are you ******* kidding me?” when you found him eating the sweets.
just takeout a few life insurance policies on him so atleast when "death do us part" youll end up with $500K for a new house.
smack him upside the head and comb the house
I knew someone who acted like this. He died.
It isn’t your fault. Your husband has an addiction problem. My mother in law was the same way. She didn’t care if it killed her. All she wanted were the sweets. She always thought that there would be a cure for diabetes before she died. She thought that the insulin shots were a “magic pill”. Yesterday she would have been 64.
He doesn't care enough about you. This is the type of person that will make you sit there and watch them die. Leave before they destroy you mentally and psychologically.
I read this FML to my husband, who is a doctor, and he said that at this point, it may not be entirely the man's fault. At this advanced stage, he might have become encephalopathic, which means there's a certain amount of brain damage, and it's possible that OP's husband literally can't control himself. Of course, it doesn't cancel out the fact that he got there all on his own, so I personally wouldn't judge the OP if she decided she cannot carry this weight.

That sounds more like an F his life, since not only did he lose 6 toes, but seems to have no self control when it comes to taking care of himself.
"Don't blame me. They needed to be used by the expiration date, and you don't like them, so I was hardly going to let them go to waste. And I'm pretty sure my meds are somewhere between here and the hospital. They'll turn up, eventually."
