Today, I finally got a raise after years of hard work! Excited, I went on a shopping spree, but as I checked the latest prices, it turns out that my extra income barely covers the increase in my grocery bill. Thanks, inflation. FML

Today, I got a raise. A 10 cent raise. I have worked at my job for over 3 years. I now make 20 cents more an hour than people that have only worked there 3 minutes. FML

Inflation woes

Today, after I got a great job at my asking salary, my boss then quit without telling me my salary was maxed out. I learned this when, two years in a row, I got a 1% raise because I'm redlined. With inflation, my take-home pay has dropped by 15% in two years. FML

Investing in the future

Today, after years of being underpaid, I received my first paycheck at my new job. My new employer offers excellent benefits and a 401k. But after I invest in all these wonderful things, and after a $4 an hour pay increase, my net income is less than before. FML

Today, I got a 25-cent raise at work. That would be wonderful, had they not cut 6 hours off my schedule as well. I'm now making $200 less a month than I was pre-raise. FML

Today, I bought $250 worth of groceries and was feeling rather good about myself because it's the first time I've been able to do so in months. When I returned home I found my fridge/freezer broken. Most of the food I bought was dairy or frozen. FML

Thank a Democrat (and some Republicans too). They thought spending trillions more on "inflation reduction", with money that didn't exist, was a great way of funding their priorities. Now the money (magically) exists and (surprise!) it's not worth as much. They're all out of control.

Blame the stupid companies for taking all the money and giving it to a rich asshole who did nothing but exploit people, and made all the peons who work for a living into a modern slave. While politicians are part of it, the way they acts is symptoms of the rich oligarchy and work to protect them and not the 98%. And people wonder why Luigi is hailed a modern hero. Us peons know why…
