Put a bucket or a trash can in your lap,problem solved.

Throw up in a zip lock bag ...learned that trick when my husband was on chemo....gallon sized ones. Zip it and throw away ! No more mess OP!

Why can't u just throw up in a trash can?

Last time I was sick like that, I sat down on the toilet and leaned over the tub. Couldn't find our puking bucket so that was the best option.

Trust me when I tell you, the toilet is for the back end of things. Your bathroom should have a shower or tub in it, hopefully within reach. So do your thing on the john and throw up in the shower or tub, there's a drain already there. Then just turn on the shower and rinse it down, you're probably not eating enough to cause a clog anyhow. I have sadly found it easier to manage that way. I feel your pain though, I had the same issue once and had to throw up in my cat's litter box, wish I'd known the poor thing was using it at the time. She was less than pleased with me. why not use a trash can? sit on the toilet and puke into the can.

Hope you feel better O.P. Trash cans work. Sit on the toilet and chuck in the can. Then all you have to do is dump it in the toilet and rinse it out.
