Woah the comments in this one really freak me out because I too worked at CEC AND I worked at Toys R Us over the Christmas holiday a few years back. The costume was super freakin hot and for some reason I had to wear it one time even though I worked "maintenance" (cleaning everything).
Wow, #8. I don't think this is something to compare to abuse. It's a child. No one ever knows what they're going to do next. Nowhere in the story did it say "and the kid never got punished". You sound like you're kind of a crazy bitch. OP, let's hope after this experience, they never ask you to be Chuck E again. On the contrary, ******* hilarious.
There is something called emotional abuse
Am I horrible person that I find this entertaining? But seriously when I was little Chuckie Cheeses scared the shit out of me. Maybe he was scared...
Yeah, that place is rough. I mean I loved the whole games thing as a kid...but the mouse was a creep.
I used to work at Chuck E Cheese when I was 15. It was my first job, and the worst was being chuck e cheese cause i wanted to actually dress up but one time some other employee that had been wearing it for 7 hours straight finally got a break. I got the joy of smelling and feeling 7 hour sweat on my body. I still have nightmares...
The best detail of this entire thread is that random employees actually get thrown into the mouse costume. When I first read the post, I thought it was a little strange that they didn’t just hire someone specifically to be the mouse. Apparently that is the way it works.
Been there brother. Twas my first job too, a brand new Chuck's (Mansfield, Ohio). When we first opened, we got hand-me-down rat suit parts, so 1/2 of it didnt match. We had a regular mouse, but fact is he skipped work 1/4 of the time so it was either me (who tops out at 5'10) or one of my managers (at a whoping 6'7) who filled the suit...yeah chuck grew and shrunk frequently

I used to work at Chuck E Cheese too! That costume was sooo gross smelling, I never liked being the mouse. One time I was helping Chuck E get dressed and a pipe bursted in the Chuck E room. So the guy being Chuck E had to run out without the head on and little kids started screaming when they found out he wasn't real... plus the water gushing everywhere.
I used to work at that place, and I can tell you, this won't be the worst thing that happens to you there. GET OUT NOW.
