Today, after dating my girlfriend for about a month, she changed her Facebook status to taken. When I saw the update, I immediately clicked "Like." Then I looked up and saw I wasn't the person she had put herself in a relationship with. FML

Another reason FB needs a dislike button as well...but seriously, FYL dude.

Ouch. Don't get torn up about it. You're too good for her.

No... MyFace is better. I was at a friend's house once and her dad's friend walked in (she's 15, he's like, 40 or something) and he knows about Myspace and Facebook but doesn't use them really, and he said, "What are you on, MyFace?" It was quite hilarious.

She must have watched the movie Taken (starring liam neeson) :p

ydi for using facebook. get a life and interact with real people not failbook

YDI for not having some balls. seriously. i'm not trying to be a troll, but just because you've dated her for a month doesn't make her your girlfriend. that's something you were going to have to somehow mutually agree on, which means making it clear that neither of you wanted to date anyone else. if you were serious about wanting to be in a relationship, the first thing you should've asked is "are you seeing anyone else?"

She still probably dated two people at once, which I think is despicable.

You may have been dating for a month, but dating does not necessarily equal a relationship until you both agree that it is exclusive. Somehow, I highly doubt this happened. Therefore, I think this is neither a FYL or YDI because she was never really your girlfriend, and at least now that you know this you can go back to the dating scene.
