Today, I decided to lighten my hair. I applied the dye and waited 20 minutes. When I went to wash the dye out, the water wouldn't turn on. After my head started to burn, I called the landlord in a panic. Turns out there was a water main break and the entire city block doesn't have water. FML

Holy crap...I probably woulda poured bottled water over my head or gatorade or whatever I had in the house...lol...I hope your hair is not too damaged and the color doesn't look bad...and if it does I hope it can be fixed at a salon...wow this seriously blows...it would only be half as bad if you had been coloring it darker...but bleach...damn...

#6-- it was a freak break, it doesn't seem like there was any advanced notice... OP good luck with the hair. Ask neighbors for bottled water and, if all else fails, you can always go to a salon to get it fixed professionally... i assume /they/ won't turn off the water lol

At first I was thinking "wow, that sucks." Then I remembered that I hate hair dye, makeup, etc. Be happy with your genetics. You deserve that one 8-)

That's not really fair. Just because you have certain values, doesn't mean you need to force them upon others. She has every right to wear make-up and dye her hair, that doesn't mean she deserved having bleach eat away at her hair. So you can shove you stupid morals up your ass, that was a rude thing to say.

Personally. All I have to say is this. You should have checked the water first before sticking sht in your hair that can possibly make you pass out or worse, make you fckin' bald. Oh well, just say you tried the whole 'Pink Military Style'. You might get away with it.

Stick your head in the toilet? Ew. I rather go bald. I agree with the ideas of dumping household liquids in your hair; bottled water, tea, coffee, ect.
