Fire!

Today, I decided to lighten my hair. I applied the dye and waited 20 minutes. When I went to wash the dye out, the water wouldn't turn on. After my head started to burn, I called the landlord in a panic. Turns out there was a water main break and the entire city block doesn't have water. FML

Holy crap...I probably woulda poured bottled water over my head or gatorade or whatever I had in the house...lol...I hope your hair is not too damaged and the color doesn't look bad...and if it does I hope it can be fixed at a salon...wow this seriously blows...it would only be half as bad if you had been coloring it darker...but bleach...damn...

Wow, that's horrible. I hope your hair doesn't start falling out.

Wow this is sad. I hope your head doesn't hurt. And the peeps that put YDI, they are seriously mental.

most of the YDI are probably people trying to get badges. You can click FML and YDI on same post to get them faster

Or you could just pull something out of the fridge and use that haha

I totally understand. I have extremely dark brown hair, but I like to die it bright colors in the front. So I have to use peroxide. Problem is, it turns out I'm allergic. It's really not that bad a reaction, but it starts to REALLY burn if I keep it on for to long. If my water were shut off for whatever reason, I'd pour the closest liquid on my head, coffee, soda, mop water, whatever.

Hair dye burning? I never had that happen

it's called bleach... not dye... dye does not lighten nor burn your hair.
