Today, I was emailing my professor about what chapters our test is on this afternoon. She accidentally emailed me informing me about the date she went on last night, including that she "got laid... yay!!" and a picture. I still don't know what chapters I'm being tested on. FML

Today, four hours before a test, I received an email from my professor saying that the test had been canceled. When I checked my email again before bed, I found another email from my professor saying that his email had been hacked and the test was was still on. FML

Today, I got my results on a recent, important midterm. During the exam, I'd noticed my instructor had accidentally left an answers page in the test packet, so being honest, I didn't look at them. It turns out she did it on purpose to help us pass. I failed. FML

Today, in one of the corridors at university, I was pretending to have passionate sex with one of my lecturers to make my mates laugh. She happened to walk by just at that moment. She reminded me when my next exam is; she will be marking me. FML

Today, my college instructor told me I hadn't actually failed a big exam as he originally said. It turns out he'd mixed me up with another student. Now thanks to the power of gossip, half my class thinks I slept with him so he'd switch my grade with the other student's. FML

Today, I was bitching to my mom on the phone about the long, boring paper assignment my Lit professor gave us. Right after saying, "That woman needs to get laid" I heard laughter behind me. I turned around. Hello professor, just on my way to drop the course. FML

Today, my girlfriend decided to be very naughty and placed her underwear in my backpack. I wish she had told me, because it slipped into a folder that contained my project data for my professor. So, after class, I got sent to the Dean of Students' office to talk about sexual harassment. FML

Today, I received an email from my professor informing me that if I missed another class, I'd be dropped from the course. I have field experience to complete tomorrow as part of my major. I emailed her two weeks ago to let her know, and we're excused by the dean. She doesn't care. FML

Are you kidding me? It doesn't matter what chapters you're getting tested on, you have blackmail! Don't even do the test. Instead, write a short answer question summarizing the events of her night and how students hearing about their teachers sex lives is traumatizing and will require extensive therapy.

yeah, FHL! "Today i sent an e- mail to my friend about how i went on a date last night and finally got laid after 4 years of nothing. Unfortunately one of my students had just sent me an e-mail about the class and somehow her address got put in instead of my friends. Now my student knows it's been forever and i just had sex. FML" though this would totally get a YDI....

For not just cheating, but actually blackmailing a teacher to do so. Whether its high school or College you would be running a fair risk if caught.. funny though

I can't tell if the fml is supposed to be for knowing that your teacher is a real person that has a life, or that you're too lazy to e-mail her again asking the same question.

...Wow. I'm trying imagine how I'd feel if I had to see the only female professor I have. I'd pretty much kill myself. Honestly? Just email her again asking for the chapters, and say that you didn't get a response to the first email and sent her another. She probably feels terrible about her mistake and doesn't need you embarrassing her further. Who knows? She may even go easier on you on the exam for being a nice person instead of an asshole.
