Today, my boyfriend and I aren't speaking. He wanted to stay up late to "look for jobs", so I went to bed. An hour later, I was awoken to him screaming. When I ran in to see what was going on, he had a video game open. I shouldn't be mad at him because it was a "mega rare drop", he insists. FML

Today, I went to my boyfriend's house after working a night shift. The door was locked and, so I wouldn't wake his parents, I called him. Twelve times. Each call went to voicemail and I was left standing outside in the freezing rain until he finally let me in. What was he doing? Playing video games. FML

Dude was playing a video game for maybe an hour...where in the **** did you get the idea he has a gaming addiction? And where do you get these stats showing "lives are being ruined by gaming addiction?" Please share them. That you ruined your life doesn't mean anyone else is ruining theirs. And **** is nothing similar to a video game. It seems you're still into **** by the way you have your head so far up your own ass.

I find it really sad that so many lives are being ruined by gaming addiction. I think you will have to leave him, let him ruin his own life and not take you down that path with him. I say this as a recovered **** addict who took 15 years of abject poverty to reinvent himself.
