Today, my friend told me that her favourite aunt died last night of a heart attack. The first thing I could think of to say was, "Oh no, is she okay?" FML

besides the fact that the way she spelled favorite is also correct, you are the one that ends up looking stupid because you spelled your as you're... :/

I did that. Friend's nan died and I said "how's your nan?". "dead" was a fair response
