Freakout part 47674

Today, I found out my psycho ex also reads FML. She called me at work, pissed that I'd "publicly humiliated" her on here. I haven't posted about her at all. I'm sure the brick I found thrown through my window a few hours later has nothing to do with her, though. FML

Looking at her reaction, it probably wasn't a good idea posting this... Keep one eye open tonight...

Be honest now... did you post something about her? Also be warned, she's probably gonna see this post.

Tell us what crazy shit she does next after she reads this post.

I'm not really sure what having a psychotic disorder has to do with the FML in question. I'm just saying, it sucks what happened and you don't deserve that, but you also don't have to promote stigmas against mentally ill people, specifically ones who experience psychosis, by using outdated slurs, to get your point across. People who experience psychosis get pegged as being violent a lot by the media, when that's simply not true, and using a slur that derives from their experiences to describe people who act scary or irrational doesn't really help.

Psychosis means any mental disorder through the severity of which one loses contact with reality. Sounds perfectly fitting here to imply she has a skewed perception of reality.

Being mentally ill sounds perfectly at home for someone who acts like a 'normal' person normally doesn't...
