Free healthcare when?

Today, my dentist called and told me that the surgery to remove my wisdom teeth - which I desperately need and saved for a year to be able to afford - will actually cost nearly $2000 more than originally stated. The surgery is supposed to be in three days. FML

OP here! To answer a few questions: I have 4 wisdom teeth, all of which are impacted. They also all have long roots, which means that over time (say... the year I spent saving up) they're growing closer and closer to a really important nerve in my jaw, so it's going to be difficult to take them out without causing damage (there's already quite a bit of pain anyway). I'm still on my parents' insurance but it won't cover much of the cost for dental. We canceled and I now have another appointment with a different dental office at the end of this month, so hopefully we can figure things out there. Still waiting to get my deposit back though. I also don't currently have a passport so going out of the country isn't an option unfortunately... I'm just hoping that I can get these suckers out soon (and not be left in debt for it)!

go to a dental school in the future they're rather cheap and you get multiple opinions. I'm spending around 800 for not only my wisdom teeth to be removed but also to have teeth repaired.

Seriously apply for a care credit card...it’s covers dental, the vet, the eye doctor, and so many more things

America; Land of the free. Except healthcare. That will cost you your soul.

Go to europe it costs 60 $ to remov them in france for exemple.
