Today, I came back to my boyfriend's house where I've been staying to find all my things thrown outside, ruined, including my entire CD collection, textbooks and clothes cut up. All because I had left my phone there and had got a text from a guy saying, "Hi, how have you been?" FML

Well considering a lot of young girls think it's romantic that a guy comes into a girls house at night and watches her sleep (cough -twilight- cough) it wouldn't surprise me if the idea of an insanely possessive boyfriend is attractive to them.

Yep. My boyfriend seemed "normal" in this way at the beginning, then revealed how possessive he could get. In this situation, he would've looked through my phone, NOT thrown out my stuff, just would've given me the silent treatment for a day.
