Today, my husband's rich aunt and uncle came in town and handed us an envelope and said we hope this helps out with the student loans. Inside the envelope was just an article on new student loan procedures and how to get lower payments. FML

okay first off, why do people post idiotic comments? I hate stupid people, second, how the hell did that FML start a politics conversation? and 3rd, it was kind of tricky that they put it in an envolope, but its not their job to pay for your student loans, they worked hard to get their money and people should do the same for themseves and stop relying on people that have money because they have worked hard for it all their lives. Its your job to pay off those loans and not theirs, and at least they were trying to help, they didnt even have to help that much.

Makes me sad how many times I have to repeat myself, THINK before you post. Why are people freaking about the envelope? My grandma keeps ******* everything in an envelope, she'll give us an article or one coupon in an envelope, that's just what she does. 2nd) Obviously the OP was expecting a handout seeing how she started the story with "...My husbands rich aunt and uncle..." Why do people have to be labled by the amount of money they have? Just because they're rich doesn't mean they should give you or anyone their money, and just because they don't give your lazy ass some money doesn't mean that they're mean or that your life is ******.
