Happens to the best of us! BUT if you sleep that soundly better MAKE sure you stay awake next time ;)

Lack of information makes it hard for me to choose between the two. Were the kids put to bed for the night? Did the parents ever mention it was alright to sleep after they children were put to bed? Did they wake you like that out of jest or were they upset?

^ Why not? It's like, who cuts the barber's hair or gives the dentist a root-canal, cause I kind of doubt they do it to themselves. ;) (Doubt it, but ready to be very impressed to see a dentist badass enough to try.)

I did that exact same thing but the kids woke me up. And the only reason I fell asleep was because the kids wanted be to lay next to them during nap time.

This happens to me all the time except the parents don't care as long as their kids are asleep!
