If you let him stay and sleep with it, YDI.
Go get your ex-boyfriend, claim him to be your teddy bear, and insist that you can't possibly sleep without it.
Wow, the questions I have. How long have they been broken up? Have the two of you had sex and, if so, were there problems? Are there other objects that he seems to unusually important? It could be that he isn't over her. Or, he could have a fetish for women's underwear and/or sleepwear. It is pretty strange to admit that he is bringing his ex-girlfriend's nightgown. That could suggest that the real reason is even worse in his mind...it is his nightgown. Best of luck OP.
Choke him wit it :p
Pay no attention to the idiots telling you "talk it out." There are some things you talk out and some things you get the hell away from.
Option 5 the silk night gown is actually big enough to be his blanket.
I was about to get really upset about you coming in between a man and his blankie but then I got the the end... im sorry OP.

Sounds to me like he's not over her.
Well give him a reason to get rid of it!
