Don’t be hard on yourself. We get into habits of shopping or buying online when sometimes there are better alternatives… I grew up with farmer grandparents. Many plants are now hybrids and only legacy and wild plants are guaranteed to produce offspring like themselves. So it’s possible that planting Mom’s flowers seeds might not have gotten the desired results - Depending on if they were hybrids or not.
You could get the same breeds in different colors and see what the seeds end up doing. Sounds like a way more fun project than just planting the exact same flowers.
They actually say the higher the IQ, the harder it is to compute simple common sense stuff because your brain is off doing it's own thing. my ex husband is a Mensa, he has the common sense and street smarts of a brick. Another Mensa friend is the same way
This is why the whole "IQ" thing is bullshit. I took a Mensa test, got a result of 187 and an invitation to become a member. Problem is, I know how badly I suck at a lot of subjects, with math being one of my weaknesses. I got lucky with that test, it does not mean I or anyone else who passed it is a genius. As evidenced by your comment and OP's story.
Maybe you're IQ is not as high as you think? I'm thinking you made a bunch of lucky guesses on the test and your mom lied about your age.
