ive heard of people doing that, but they do it outside, over a bucket of water.
I remember Mischief Night 2009, I stopped an entire row of apartments from burning because some kids lit a garbage can on fire that was directly next to the end apartment. Another minute or two and it could have been really bad.
And your next therapeutic exercise is to buy a fire extinguisher.
Pro-tip: Next time you do this exercise, bring them outside and set them aflame on concrete (street or driveway). Nothing else will catch on fire and the ashes and smoke of your toxic smoke will not be in your living space.
Not common sense, that's for sure! Instead I learned Math, English, History, Science etc. but no common sense. They fill our heads so much knowledge, half it we'll never use or forget, that there's no room for stuff we need for everyday life, like common sense. Why do think our generation does so much stupid stuff; the more we know, the dumber we get! :P

Your therapist obviously thought you were a lost cause and was trying to get you to end it all. I'd check to see of she took out an insurance policy on you recently.
It might have been a pane in the ash, but I bet that it was relieving throwing your worries our the window like that. Nothing to get burned up about.
