Correct me if I'm wrong in my understanding here, but -- The bridal table, as in the head table where the newlyweds and their bridesmaids and groomsmen sit? And generally, just them? Because that's a very strange request/demand to make, even if you're contributing to the wedding. Seems like a very entitled thing for grandma to ask for. Assuming she even vocalized this while seating was being planned.
Why is "paid for the wedding" in quotes? Did she or did she not pay for the wedding? I have to know in order to render my verdict.
It doesn’t matter who paid for the wedding. The bridal table is the the bride and groom and the wedding party.
@TomeDr Not all weddings are like that. Some have a head table where the bride and groom sit with their parents and a few other VIPs.
That begs the question: Why wasn't your grandmother in the wedding party?
