Today, was my birthday. I purposely didn't log onto Facebook all day, so that I could read all my birthday wishes at once. When I logged on at the end of the day, I had one notification. My "friend" had commented on a picture of me, saying I looked like Jabba the Hut. FML

Today, it's my birthday. My grandma posted about it on her Facebook wall, but people got confused and thought it was her birthday instead. She got twice as many birthday wishes as I did, and that's including the ones I got outside of Facebook. FML

Blame the new facebook...haha. Half of my friends posted on my wall, half didn't. The birthdays are really very hard to notice, though - everyone I know agrees.

This always happens when you expect people to give a shit about your birthday. Don't, and then if no one says anything, oh well. On the sort of flip side I also think it's very tacky to tell people it's your birthday out of nowhere, since it puts them on the spot.

#19 and others are right...it's all because of facebook's stupid newest makeover. The birthdays, along with the pokes, are very well hidden on the home page. I wish they'd send out notifications for them or something. :P Mine is in 3 days and I was looking forward to those birthday wishes.
