OP, thats tough no matter where you are in life. But think back, it's likely there were problems in the relationship before. It's too late now, but remember this in the future - Ignoring significant relationship problems never ends well. I'm certainly not trying to say this was OP's "fault". Every couple has their rough patches and issues that have to be compromised and worked through. Every stage in life is preparation for the next - Even the shitty ones like this.... Unfortunately I agree husband probably already has another romantic partner. I think it shows lack of character to wait until you find someone who seems "better" before breaking up. But its an all too human tendency in men and women both.
