Today, it's my birthday. Since my parents are in the middle of a divorce, my mom thought it was perfectly reasonable to burn the gifts my dad got for me in the fireplace. FML

That's when you tell her "Mom, those were MY gifts. I realize you are mad at Dad, but you had no right to burn what was mine!" and then tell her to replace what she destroyed, and keep you out of the middle.
